17 years old she started playing as a participant in the percussionist Esteban Guiterrez's classes for women, to work in a direct way as a musician in diferent projects within Latinamerican folklore, salsa, rock, latin jazz and modern music.
During this time she also studied four years at The University of Córdoba, with fine art as her major. This way Liliana could integrate her artistical and musical work, making scenografies for diferents performances and concerts, developing in fine arts and music, both remaining principal parts of her artistical education.
Parallely to this she developed her acting skills in the theater group "Babel".
For five years she was also a member of the percussion quintet "Vasily Percusión" witch arranged classes, performances and workshops, making new music, including vocal music.
In 2001 she recieved an UNESCO art grant to study Cuban percussion at ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte) in Havanna, Cuba. For six months she studied investigating theory of Cuban music, religion and the instrumentation of Cuban percussion.
Apart from this course, Liliana always took private classes in percussion in diferent parts of the world, and with teachers from diferent countries, among witch you can find the names of prominent percussionists like:
