ABOUT PROJECT
From Andalsia to Anatolia project perform two different kinds of tradional music together
with its unique rhythmic and melodic structure. The birthplace of flamenco and
Baglama.Two different cultures ranging from Andalusia to Anatolia. Jerenimo Maya's
unique flamenco guitar technique and Erdal Akkaya's classic works of Anatolia bringing
two different tradational music melodies together.
Flamenco guitar virtuoso Jerenimo Maya and Baglama virtuoso Erdal Akkaya are
connecting the tunes, without departing from tradition to offer polyphonic music blended
with their own compositions from several albums which reflects the different colors and
