THE NAGUAL ORCHESTRA

The Nagual Orchestra is a World-Latin-Jazz project that started in Stockholm in 2011 by the hand of the drummer Santiago Torres (Uruguay) and the pianist Lyan Cahuac Hun (Colombia). The idea was to play own material inspired in South American traditional rhythms such as Milonga, Candombe, Joropo,Cumbia etc... mixed with Jazz, Rock and Classical music. After a while playing as a duo, the cellist Anja Inge (Sweden) came in the picture expanding the range of sounds and colors of the band.  In 2012 the band recorded its first demo with five songs and  made a video live in a concert. Now the project is growing and with the immersion of the new band member Labros Liaropoulos (Greece-Sweden) on the bass, it has taken a bigger and more powerful sound.
